The Best of 2009!

Oh what a year it has been! 2009 has certainly had its fair share of wonderful wedding ideas–pretty flowers, delicious cupcakes, gorgeous real weddings–the inspirations are literally endless. This being my last blog post for the year, I thought it only fitting to round up my TOP 5 most coveted wedding “inspirations” of the year–which I’m hoping will carry into 2010. Starting with #1 (pictured above)–white bouquets were mega for me this year. There’s something so classic and attractive about white bouquets that I can’t just seem to describe in words.
#2 Letterpress stationery was my absolute favourite of the year. Can’t wait to see more brides make use of this (eco-friendly) option for 2010.

#3 You probably all saw this coming. But my love for cupcakes has always been a fave and most likely won’t ever change.
#4 Destination weddings were major this year, and I think they’ll only gain more popularity in the new year. My fave for 2009 comes from this gorgeous Hawaiian celebration (shot by Ellen Ho). Joe and Karen, the two cute newlyweds, chose Maui as their backdrop and they certainly did it with style. Check out their wedding here.
#5 Forget “something blue,” I was all for “something black”–especially when it came to bridesmaid dresses. Fingers crossed all brides are on board with cute LBDs.
