Video: Awesome Real Wedding – King of Leon’s Use Somebody

I often get asked what makes a great wedding video. Well, first, it’s got to have great music. That’s a clincher for me. If a wedding video has snoozy music, you’re guaranteed to emit a more somber atmosphere. And, really, your wedding day is all about fun, celebrating, and love. That’s not to say you can’t use a slower song–you can–but song selection is really key. Secondly, the editing is a huge part (i.e. does it flow nicely, is it exciting, does it tell a story), that’s where picking a great videographer/cinematographer really comes into play. Bottom line though, I really enjoy viewing wedding videos that look like music vids, there’s something so engaging and telling about that particular style. One of my faves videographers, Jason Magbanua, is a prime example. His work is so captivating–almost makes you feel like you were a guest at the wedding. Here’s one of his latest ones using King of Leon’s hit song Use Somebody. Enjoy!
