Beauty Obsession: MAC Cosmetics
I am a MAC girl. Always have been and, probably, always will be. Don’t get me wrong, I love all other eyeshadow and eyeliners from other brands, but when it comes to foundations, blushes, concealers, and okay the occasional two to three eyeshadows, MAC’s my go-to beauty shop. Not to mention, they always come out with the cutest limited edition collection items, like that Hello Kitty set a few months back. My only dilemma is that they’re LIMITED. But, anywho, just received this recent release entitled MAC in Lillyland.
Looks like from January to February MAC will be offering a limited edition set in collaboration with Lilly Pulitzer (best known for their pop art/retro patterns). The result? Amazingly funky yet playful shades for your lips, cheeks and eyes. Definitely bridal-worthy, stock up on these if you’re going for that whole boho romantic look, because come summer these beautiful colours won’t likely be around.

I am proud to say that I too am part of the “I heart MAC club” :p. The funny thing is that I grew up more of an ahtletic tom-boy and didn’t do the girly thing – now I’m obsessed with make-up!! My MAC must-haves? Studio Fix powder, paint pot in groundworx, technokhol (?) eye liner and all their eye shadows!! I find their eye shadows are the most pigmented and as my girlfriend says, “Wearing MAC, you still have your face on at the end of the day” LOL!!
Roseanne – if you love MAC’s foundations, you must MUST try Make Up For Ever’s HD Invisible cover foundation. I can’t stop raving about it and telling everyone about it. My problems with foundation? My face gets really oily during the day, I’m allergic to sunscreen (& it’s hard to find foundation w/out sunscreen these days) & I never re-apply my make-up (lazy? totally). With this foundation, I swear I’m less shiny, I look AIRBRUSHED all day and if you want an even greater look (like for parties) it’s flawless when layered with MAC studio fix on top. LOVE IT!!
