Bridesmaid Dress Woes
It’s four months until my friend’s wedding and no bridesmaid dress has been selected. Last week was the first time we all went to BCBG—upon request of the bride—to check out this tiered evening gown. Pretty? Yes! Suitable for this occasion? Most probably not. We all agreed that it’s a dress more suitable for a bride than a bridesmaid. One bridesmaid pointed out that it seems too close to the bride’s gown colour and the length is too long. We all agreed that perhaps this isn’t the best choice and maybe if the length of the gown were shorter—sort of in a cocktail style—it would work to our advantage. So alas, I, oops, I mean “we” find ourselves still on the hunt for that perfect bridesmaid dress. Oh well, can’t complain, at least she’s asking for our input and not clothing us in anything too crazy or daring…yet.

I think that would be quite unique and beautiful, especially for the photos! I’m imagining everyone lined up on some huge couch in their vogue poses. I don’t think bridesmaids could ever take that sparkle away from the bride. Good luck finding the perfect dresses ladies :)
