Sparkle & Splendor
Do you love the cover bouquet of Weddingbells‘ Spring & Summer 2010 issue? If candles and ruffly flowers is your wedding mandate, then here is the perfect table setting for you.
At first glance the table arrangement looks like one massive arrangement. But it is really three large low arrangements with the petals touching the linen, along with eight matching mint julep cup arrangements placed along the table to fill in between the larger arrangements. To add the glitter, we used two different sizes of hurricanes as well as low votive candles, making the whole table shine!
The purpose of having the florals designed right to the linens in the large arrangements is so you don’t have to spend money on a pricey container, and can simply use an inexpensive design tray. This way you can focus on putting your budget into the stem count of the designs. And of course we used hydrangea, my favourite “bang for your buck” flower. This look manages to exude luxury while staying within a fair budget!
