- 51% of currently engaged women are planning a traditional wedding. 38% say their wedding will be less formal, 8% say the day will be quite simple and 3% are still unsure of what sort of wedding they’ll have.

- 83% of brides will have a bridal shower.

- 73% will have a rehearsal party.

- 72% will have a stagette.

- 35% will have an engagement party.

- 78% of brides expect to buy their dress at a bridal salon.

- 51% of weddings will occur between July and September.

- 54% of brides would prefer to tackle invitations and reception decor when it comes to DIY projects.

- 30% of brides find planning a wedding more stressful than enjoyable.
