What Your Wedding Colours Say About You (And Your Celebration)
BLUE: PURITY AND TRADITION
“We think of pink as being the ‘girl’ colour but that’s a very modern idea. It’s less than a hundred years old,” says Lindsay. “It used to be that pale blue was considered feminine. It signaled innocence, purity and things that are delicate because blues in nature are things that you can’t really touch and hold. They’re more ethereal. A blue wedding dress really does speak to a kind of purity and innocence, yet not as predictably as white,” she adds.
