Decorate with Scent and Colour

I talked about using scent in the home in an earlier post, which I think is a great way to add ambiance to any room in your house. When I heard about this new collaboration between Jo Malone and Farrow & Ball, I wanted to share it with all of you! For those of you who aren’t familiar, Jo Malone is a British lifestyle brand that sells products for the bath, body and home, while Farrow & Ball are expert manufactures in the paint and wallpaper business. It made complete sense the two collaborate on these gorgeous limited edition candles. Personally I love them all and could see any of them in my current place (I’m thinking the blue one in my bedroom).

Each candle fragrance is matched with a classic Farrow & Ball colour – Lime Basil & Mandarin is matched with Breakfast Room Green; Wild Fig & Cassis is matched with Pelt; Blue Agava & Cacao is matched with Oval Room Blue; Grapefruit is matched with Cream; and Pomegranate Noir is matched with Eating Room Red. What’s great is that they’re great alone or even combined. The Lime Basil scent is Jo Malone’s signature fragrance and is definitely perfect for the kitchen. Starting May 1, you can buy the candles at Holt Renfrew locations across Canada or at the Farrow & Ball showroom in Toronto.
