The Perfect Prezzie
I recently celebrated my birthday and, as usual, was spoiled rotten by all the wonderful people in my life. The big day was November 23rd, but the festivities started November 17th and just wound up this weekend—now that’s a birthday! There were lots of lunches, dinners, a weekend away with the beau, a day of shopping with Mom and some fabulous gifts.
One of the most precious came from my WB girls, and it’s one that I think you need to put on your registry wish list, pronto. There’s nothing we at the office love more than a little Marc Jacobs, and the WB’ers took that love to the ultimate level when they gifted me with this stunning Marc Jacobs for Waterford footed crystal vase. The Jean Trumpet Vase is a stunning piece that looks gorgeous à la carte (sitting in the middle of my dining room table), or filled with fresh flowers (it was front and centre brimming with white hydrangea at the tea party I hosted yesterday). The detailing on the piece is very simple and modern, perfect if you love the look of Waterford but prefer something a little less embellished than its traditional collections. It’s my first Waterford piece, but certainly not my last—it was love at first sight, and I’m now on my way to building my crystal collection.
