Spring Beauty

While spring isn’t exactly around the corner, for those of you who are planning a spring or summer celebration, the season is most definitely on your mind. When it comes to your bridal beauty look, some of the trends on the spring & summer 2010 fashion runways included colour—and lots of it! One collection we think you’ll enjoy is MAC’s new collaboration with designer Lilly Pulitzer. For those of you who don’t know her, the brand is known for its pretty and colourful clothing and accessories. (Also check out the Wedding Wear, perfect for a beach celebration). The collection is vibrant, with a dash of retro and of course colourful, in a Palm Beach kind of way. One of our favourite items is the Cremeblend Blush, $22. Available in four colours (So Sweet, So Easy pictured), it’s a rich and creamy blush that when applied, goes on very soft and much lighter than in the container. Not only perfect for a summer wedding, but a cream blush is nice in the colder seasons especially if you have dry skin. Starting January 7, the collection will be in stores. Thanks for the great advice, I use mac on a daily basis, I will definately check out this new line. I am having a makeup trial done this week to see how we can make me look extra special for my speical day. I definately don’t want to look like I put on pounds of make up, simple and suttle for me.
