This past Sunday, Ivanka Trump married Jared Kushner in a private Jewish ceremony at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, in New Jersey. She donned a custom Vera Wang, finished with diamonds from her own jewellery collection: Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry, which included a hairpiece, and an Art Deco bracelet. Her bridesmaids were outfitted in Carolina Herrera gowns, a sophisticated touch to the “traditional and elegent” wedding she had always envisioned.
Planned by wedding guru Preston Bailey, other details surrounding the day, according to People.com, included a 13-layer cake designed by Sylvia Weinstock. Each layer was ringed with flowers from roses to peonies and Liles of the Valley. Not only that, but there were several flavours in the cake too, including chocolate, carrot, almond and yellow cake.
Among the 500 guests, were celebrities such as Natalie Portman, Russell Crowe, Barbara Walters and Regis Philbin. Trump, who is an avid Tweeter, even Tweeted on her wedding day saying: “Just finished a gorgeous hike. The leaves are spectacular and the sun is shining. Everything is simply perfect! I’m getting married today!”
