Curious to know where the stars go when they’re in need of some R&R? Some of the most frequented spots and its fans include:

1. Maui, Hawaii – Britney Spears, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Garner and Cameron Diaz all love the sun and surf offered here. While The Fairmont at Kea Lani and The Four Seasons are the resorts of choice.
2. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico – Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sheryl Crow and Courtney Cox frequent this locale, not only thanks to the white sand beaches, luxury spa services and yummy cuisine, but that it’s a short trip from their L.A. pads. Jennifer is often seen staying at the Esperanza Resort.
3. St. Tropez, France – Penelope Cruz, Katie Holmes, the Beckhams, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are just a handful of the celebs that enjoy the pristine beaches, stunning architecture and French cuisine.
4. Aspen, Colorado – Will Smith and Jada, Goldie and Kurt, Heidi Klum and Kate Moss love to hit the slopes come winter. When they’re not on the hills, you can find them hitting the upscale boutiques or heading out to the bars.
5. Lake Como, Italy – Matt Damon, George Clooney, Brad and Angelina, and Madonna have all been spotted here. A few own property (including George) while many rent villas, like The Villa d’Este, which is where you go if you’re A-list!

But if mingling with regular folks is too much to handle you can always rent Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island, in the British Virgin Isles. It’s a totally secluded island, surrounded by crystal turquoise waters. On land is a luxurious villa that can accommodate 28 guests. There’s also a private gym, tennis court, infinity swimming pool, horseback riding, spa services and oh yeah, 14 private beaches in case you didn’t feel like hanging out with the other guests. Steven Spielberg, Mel Gibson, Oprah Winfrey and Harrison Ford have all made a visit.
