I’ve just returned from the stunningly gorgeous Turks and Caicos, and I am pleasantly surprised by all the recent celebrity weddings! While, I didn’t see Bruce or Demi (they were tucked away in Parrot Cay), I did happen to notice a mildly incognito Nelly Furtado and her hubby en route from Miami to Toronto—but back to the nuptial news.
Singer Natasha Bedingfield got hitched! She married businessman Matthew Robinson at the Church Estates Vineyards in California overlooking the ocean (the same place Fergie and Josh tied the knot). She wore a strapless Vera Wang, while her four bridesmaids wore cocktail-length purple gowns with either spaghetti straps or halter tops. The beautiful bride carried a bouquet of white roses and walked down an aisle sprinkled with rose petals. Another star that you probably remember from The Wonder Years, Danica McKeller (a.k.a. Winnie Cooper), tied the knot in an oceanside church in La Jolla, California to composer Mike Verta. Donning a mermaid-style gown and a Renee Strauss tiara, McKeller celebrated with about 150 guests, according to people.com. Then there’s David Letterman who opted for a surprise wedding. He married long-time girlfriend Regina Lasko before a justice of the peace on March 19th. While Tom and Gisele are already official, tonight they’re adding a few more people to the guest list for a dinner in Costa Rica. Cheers to that!
