High and Low Bridal Shoes
One of my favourite sites to “window shop” is net-a-porter. I love checking out what’s new, browsing through their magazine and adding items to my wish list. It also happens to be their 10th anniversary this year too! In case you haven’t had a chance to check them out, net-a-porter has a bridal boutique which includes dresses, shoes, bags and accessories. It’s a great place to find that perfect splurge item — including to-die-for shoes from Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin and Lanvin. I’ve showcased a couple of my favourite finds — a pair of Jimmy Choo white peep-toe slingbacks for the classic bride and a pair of gold Christian Louboutin’s for the glamour girl!
While splurging on shoes may be a must for some of you out there, it may not be in the budget for others which is why I’ve also showed some similar versions from Zappos.com. It’s another great online shopping site that has free shipping and a great selection too. Have you found your wedding day shoes? If you’ve already found them tell me what did you get?
{Christian Louboutin pumps from Net-a-porter, $1,195}
{Hart by RSVP at Zappos.com, $65}
{Zeta by Martinez Valero at Zappos.com, $153}

Always like this style of shoes !!!
Oh I wish they weren’t $700!! I have two pairs of shoes – some white heeled boots for outside (they were the last pair and are one size too big, so I am making my first trip to an actual cobbler to take in the seam a little!), and some strappy sandals for the evening. I feel like I should start wearing them around the house now though, to break them in, so I don’t get blisters on the day :)
Just like Jessyca wrote in one of her blogs, I was looking for very pretty ballerina flats (or kitten heels). I had the hardest time finding exactly what I was looking for in retail shoes stores: most of the beautiful shoes have too high a heel or REALLY boring flats :(. So when I came across the most adorable, white lace ballerina flats at a retail giant for less than a typical dinner – I had to pick them up. It’s no Jimmy Choo or Christian Louboutin but it did save me a pretty penny and they’re EXACTLY what I was looking for and will compliment my dress and personality quite beautifully.
Oh what I wouldn’t give to be able to wear those beautiful heels you’ve pictured – I love, love LOVE the Jimmy Choo slingbacks!
