Win a $100,000 Wedding from Carlsberg

Would you like to win your wedding? Carlsberg thinks so. From July 26 until August 20 any Ontario couple who wants to win a $100,000 wedding is invited to submit an entry online at bigweddingbash.ca. The catch? (Because there has to be) — is your wedding will be open to wedding crashers — yes, people who are only there for the free food and drinks. While this type of wedding is definitely not for everyone, you will also get to invite all of your friends and family and Carlsberg will pay for your bachelor and bachelorette parties, invitations, event venue, photographer, a live headliner band, wedding rings, dresses, tuxes, Chuck Taylors (for the bride, groom & wedding party), flowers, food and of course, Carlsberg. Still interested?
Three finalists will be chosen based on a combination of popular vote and judging criteria, then from August 24 until August 31, you’ll have to use all of your social media skills to gather the most votes. The winners will then have to prepare for their October 1st wedding date at the Capitol Event Theatre. So what about these wedding crashers you ask? The guest-list is 1,000 and Carlsberg will be handing out wedding invitations at a Toronto FC Game August 7th and at bachelor and bachelorette parties across the GTA, so truthfully we’re not sure who exactly is making the list.

OMG! If we hadn’t already reserved our wedding venue we’d apply for sure! My fiance and I love Carlsberg!!! We were thinking of having a Vegas wedding but wanted to include as many family and friends as possible. Thus, we chose a venue downtown and while it’s going to be fun it would have been awesome to be a contender for this. Too cool!!!
