Bridal Obsession
Not too long ago Leah Andrew from SmartBride Boutique guest blogged for us, giving fabulous tips and tricks to save big on your wedding day. In case you’re not familiar with SmartBride Boutique, they provide wedding classifieds for nine cities across the country. You’ll find listings from brides who want to sell their gown, wedding accessories and even reception decorations. Their latest endeavour: a hilarious video series called “Obsessed with the Dress” featuring a bride who doesn’t want to give up her wedding dress.
In addition to the series, SmartBride is also doing a contest (which we’re helping to judge) asking users to submit a photo of the strangest place they’ve ever seen a bride. They’ll even accept mash-ups, for you creative types! The first prize is a His & Her Gadget pack, something we know your groom will enjoy too. Are you obsessed with your dress? What do you plan on doing with it after the big day?

I’m totally obsessed with my dress – you spend so much time trying to find the right one (not the mention the cost) and then you only get to wear it for a few hours… not fair. I have my hanging behind my closet door so that I can see it every time I open the door – one of these days I’m going to have to have it dry cleaned and boxed and maybe one day down the road I can pass it down… I’ve offered to let girlfriends use it when their day comes so long (as long as i get it back).
