A Blogger Bride, Part Two
In yesterday’s post I promised to share how you can get The Cherry Blossom Girl Alix’s bridal style for less, so here goes. For those of you that think Dessy is just about bridesmaids’ dresses, think again! You can also find stylish, budget-friendly destination wedding dresses like this one (pictured left). I can tell you from previous experience that Dessy’s gowns are of amazing quality and every detail has been attended to—double layers of fabric so the sun doesn’t shine through, etc. This goddess gown perfectly captures Alix’s dreamy and romantic wedding style.
Next up, the shoes. These strappy silver heels from Aldo ring in at $60, and they’re quite similar looking to the Diors Alix wore. I also like that these sandals have a manageable heel height—no bride wants tender tootsies!
Last but not least, feathers are fashionable and fun, so add a little dash of them to your ensemble with a kitschy clutch like this one by Cady Briar.
I hope this proves that you can still get the look you want for less! Is there anyone (a movie star, fashion designer, etc.) who has inspired your wedding-day ensemble? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
