Bridal Market: Kenneth Pool
At Kenneth Pool I had a wonderful seat at the end of the runway that enabled me to see the gowns before everyone else and to watch the models as they prepared to strut down the catwalk! It was really exciting watching them adjusting their gowns and shaking off their nerves as they waited for the producer to give them their cue. As you can see, this young lady was all smiles, and how can you blame her? Wouldn’t you love to be gliding down the aisle in this glamorous ballgown? We’ve come to expect this type of drama from Kenneth Pool, designed by Amsale Aberra, and the Spring 2011 did not disappoint. “Created for the bride who demands the spotlight,” these dresses were definitely showstoppers. Voluminous, but airy, silhouettes were complemented by intricate beading and sparkly Swarovski crystal detailing. Could you see yourself in a gown like this for the big day?
