Moroccan Style

Photography courtesy Tiffany & Co.
I’m packing my bags and heading for an extremely fashionable destination: Marrakesh, Morocco. One of the incredible locations on my itinerary is the Jardin Majorelle, which was once owned by the legendary Yves Saint Laurent. Another designer who was influenced by this exotic locale? Paloma Picasso. Indeed, her “Zellige” collection is inspired by Morocco’s graphic decorative motifs. This stylish pendant from Tiffany & Co. is practically a steal at $150, making it the ideal gift for your bridesmaids. I’d also recommend taking this piece on honeymoon with you, whether or not you’re Morocco-bound!
Be sure to check back next week when I’ll be featuring a destination dress that’s perfect for a Marrakesh wedding.

And for the perfect hen party in Marrakech, check out Harem at Dar el Sadaka which means the house of discovery (www.darelsadaka.com). It offers oriental baths with body scrubs called hammams, belly dancing, fashion shows, daily movie screenings, massages, foot baths, facial masks, gorgeous foods and a beautiful setting on a 12 acre estate with sculpted gardens and a huge heated pool on the outskirts of town. It is the best way to celebrate a hen party, no sultan in sight!
