A fabulous frock from Banana Republic.
Falalalala! ’Tis the season to start shopping for the perfect holiday dress to wear to all those seasonal cocktail parties. It’s no secret that the Belles are huge fans of Banana Republic (or BR, as we fondly call it), and it’s definitely a reliable spot to find a fashionable and flattering dress that can go from day to evening in the blink of an eye. Exhibit A: this satin sheath dress. Personally, I am a huge fan of structured dresses, and one with detail at the waist (like this one) is especially desirable, particularly if you crave the perfect hourglass silhouette. I’m also a major proponent of a little red dress…there’s no better way to stand out in a sea of black! In fact, bright jewel-tone colours (ruby red, sapphire blue and emerald green) are the hottest trend for bridesmaids if the Fall 2010 runway collections are any indication. If I were you, I would definitely consider a short, structured, bold-coloured dress for your girls! What are your thoughts? Would a dress like this work for your wedding or not?
