Earlier this week I got to indulge my inner magpie at Holt Renfrew’s glittery holiday preview. While it’s a little early to be thinking about Christmas shopping (seriously!), it’s hard to resist a room full of shiny, brand-new designer merchandise. The first lustworthy item to catch my eye was a pair of gold sequin Jimmy Choo shoes (similar to the ones pictured). I would choo-choo-choose these hot heels in a heartbeat for an engagement party, or wedding for that matter. Another item on my mental list of must-haves? Lola, the latest perfume by Marc Jacobs. Flip to page 54 of our latest issue of Weddingbells to see exactly what I’m talking about. The bottle itself is simply exquisite, and the fragrance is dead sexy: a heady floral with just a hint of spice (Alison was kind enough to pass a sample my way!). As all my fellow belles well know, I’m a wee bit obsessed with all things MJ, and perfume is an affordable fix. Indeed, I am already devoted to his Fig Splash eau de toilette. I would probably keel over if he ever decided to do a bridal collection.
If you could have any designer in the world create your wedding dress, who would it be? I think you already know my answer. Tee hee.
