It’s another singer/ Canadian hockey player duo getting hitched. First was Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher, now it’s Hilary Duff and Edmonton Oilers Mike Comrie. According to People.com the two, who have been together for over two years, got engaged over the weekend while vacationing in Hawaii. The ring she has been supposedly sporting is a 4.5-carat Asscher-cut engagement ring with an estimated value of $300,000, told celebrity jewellery David Mamame to UsMagazine.com. Mike is no stranger to extravegence, as he purchased Hilary a Mercedes-Benz G-class SUV as an early 20th birthday gift. No word yet on any of the wedding details, but we hope it’s a Canadian celebration!
