Enlist the help of your bridal party or leave it up to your maid of honour to plan a surprise event. It’s up to you how involved you want to be in the planning, but make sure the person in charge has all the important details like guest information, a list of people (with contact info) to invite and your preferred location. For a more intimate event, make sure everyone invited is coming to the wedding, but for a larger shower, etiquette states you can invite co-workers, significant others of the men and people you may not have a seat for at the wedding.
