What are some things anyone organizing this type of shoot should think about beforehand?

“Organizing timing and positioning with your photographer is crucial to making sure your plans remain a secret,” says Wiltshire. “Picking the spot you want to do this is important too, since your lady is less likely to be suspicious if you take her somewhere that you’ve been before. Many brides I’ve worked with have told me they knew I was going to be their wedding photographer long before they ever got engaged, so if you know your girlfriend has a photographer they are dead set on using, you’ll earn huge brownie points for showing her you were paying attention and hired that person she’s always wanted to work with for something so fun and unique.”
