Notes from the photographer: “Incorporating a person’s hobby or special interest into my images always make for more diverse and interesting shots. Clark loves guitars and has a good-sized collection. When Cassandra mentioned that to me, I could immediately picture images of him serenading her with a tune while she watches on. There is nothing more genuine than a smile we share with a loved one. We made these images at her aunt’s farm in Alberta. Luckily for us, the canola fields were in full bloom and we combined all of these elements together in the photos.”
