It was really a weekend full of weddings. Aside from Nicole and Joel who wed this past Saturday, actress Joanna Garcia, star of the TV sitcom Better With You, said “I do” to New York Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher. Joanna looked stunning in a strapless, drop-waist Monique Lhuillier gown, while Nick wore a tux from Burberry London. The pair celebrated at the Breakers Hotel & Resort in Palm Beach with guests including Cameron Diaz, Alex Rodriguez, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Reba McEntire and Lance Bass.

This past Saturday Nicole Richie and Joel Madden finally said “I do,” after four years together and two children later. The couple had 130 guests in what was a lavish, yet intimate affair. “Nicole wanted a memorable, elegant affair for only their closest friends and family on their special day,” a source told People magazine. Katy Perry Now Mrs. Brand

Katy Perry has decided to officially change her name, according to People.com. The pop singer told Ellen Degeneres on Wednesday that she’s in the process of changing her name and has informally been going by Katy Brand, since their wedding on October 23. She told Ellen that people often call her Mrs. Brand to get her attention. “Like if I’m at an event or something like that, and they want special attention, they go, ‘Mrs. Brand!’ And I go shwoosh [looks back],” she said on the show.

Earlier this month Jessica Simpson’s ex-Nick Lachey popped the question to long-time girlfriend Vanessa Minnilo. Hot on the heels of this announcement, Jessica Simpson, who has been with football player Eric Johnson since May of this year, told People.com this weekend they are indeed set to wed too. She also showed off her Neil Lane engagement ring, a beautiful three-stone ring with a central ruby flanked by two diamonds, at a Dillard’s department store in Kansas City where she was promoting her clothing line. We’re thrilled for the couple and can’t wait to hear all about their wedding plans. Now the big question is, who will make it to the alter first? Jessica and Eric or Nick and Vanessa?

Victoria’s Secret model Doutzen Kroes, who’s also the face of L’oreal Paris, confirmed her marriage to producer Sunnery James to People Magazine. The two wed yesterday in her hometown of Eastermar, Netherlands in front of 30 friends and family. Reportedly the bride wore a dress by Pronovias, and instead of requesting gifts they asked guests to donate to dance4life or World Wildlife Fund. Confirming her happy day, she tweeted, “Today is a day to never forget! My girlfriends are the best!!!” And where will the honeymoon take them? An island near Madagascar. Congratulations to both!
