Lanvin for H&M

The fashion world is buzzing with the news that H&M’s next designer collaboration is Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz, and we can’t help wondering if he’ll include a wedding dress in his cheap chic collection. Former H&M collaborators Victor & Rolf designed a special bridal gown for their fast-fashion line, and it was sold out in mere minutes. Plus, Elbaz already has some bridal experience under his belt—Lanvin has featured wedding dresses for several seasons now. In fact, they’re available for purchase from Net-a-Porter…

A Blogger Bride

Since then I’ve been religiously following the adventures of author Alix (a fabulous French girl!), and coveting her enviable collection of handbags and shoes I might add! Emmy Pick: Claire Danes

Maids by Monique Lhuillier

According to Women’s Wear Daily, bridal designer extraordinaire Monique Lhuillier (who most recently dressed Carrie Underwood for her nuptials) is preparing to launch not one, but TWO bridesmaid lines this year. Monique Lhuillier Bridesmaids and the less expensive ML Monique Lhuillier Bridesmaids will reportedly be for sale on nordstrom.com (yes, they do ship to Canada! And incidentally, they have quite a fabulous wedding collection) by next month and in bridal salons by January.

Vera Forever

If there’s one thing we learned from the recent bout of celebrity weddings it’s that Vera Wang is still the undisputed queen of bridal fashion. Hilary Duff was the most recent starlet to don a Vera gown, but Chelsea Clinton and Alicia Keys also chose her designs. We recently had a spectacular Vera in the office (look for it in our Spring/Summer 2011 issue on newsstands in December!), and it was easy to see why she has no trouble winning over the red-carpet set.
