Just a Tint
For those of you not willing to take the foundation plunge or for those of you that don’t need a whole lot of coverage, I urge you to give Stila sheer color tinted moisturizer a try. It is light weight, sheer and has SPF 15, allowing you to skip the sunscreen on your face (who doesn’t need to save time in the morning right?!).
For a product that is this sheer it amazes me how much it can do. It has just enough colour to even out your skin tone without looking like you have any foundation on. Perfect for a bride that wants to feel fresh and not overly made up. Also perfect to use all-year round after the wedding day! (I use it daily). It comes in 10 shades ranging from fair to deep and is literally foolproof to apply—it is far too sheer to mess up. It is a personal preference whether you want to use a foundation brush, a sponge or your good old reliable fingers to apply it to your face, as long as you blend it until you no longer see it. Simply use a concealer for unwanted blemishes and under eye circles. I prefer to conceal under the eyes before the tinted moisturizer so I can blend the colours together under the eyes, but touch up blemishes after in order to not wipe away the coverage on the isolated areas. After application use a light dust of translucent powder to set and take away unwanted shine. My favorite part is that it lets your skin look like exactly that….YOUR skin.
