If you’re doing your own wedding-day makeup, one of the things you need to invest in is a good foundation for your skin type. According to Wanda Longo, international communications director for CoverFX, who gave some amazing beauty tips (along with Dee Daly and M.A.C.’s Jane McKay) for those of you doing your own wedding-day makeup, that normal to dry skin types should use a liquid or cream, while oily skin types should use powder. For those of you who fall in the normal to dry category, one foundation you should consider is Lancome’s new Teint Idole Fresh Wear. Highlights? It promises to last 18 hours. The finish is silky and matte, but not heavy. Plus it also includes an SPF 15. Other bonuses? During their clinical tests just after one week users felt a more refined skin texture and after four weeks skin was visibly smoother and imperfections less noticeable.
