Mark your calendars ladies, February 14th a new online bridal destination is going to be unveiled. BHLDN, although separate from the Anthropologie stores and website, has the brands’ vintage-esque aesthetic and will include everything from bridal gowns, to accessories (shoes, bags, hair pieces), and even invitations, decorations and more. We can’t wait too see what’s in store (fingers crossed they’ll ship to Canada!).
The Moscow Mule
Last night Nicole and I were invited to a Classic Cocktail party, put on by the LCBO, with special guest Janie Bryant, award-winning costume designer of Mad Men. As huge fans of the show, we were thrilled to go. Nicole even got a chance to speak with Janie and get her take on wedding dresses! (Stay tuned for that post). In addition to loving the show, I am personally loving this throw-back to ’60s-inspired cocktails and appetizers. What: Augustina Fragrances, $30-95
Why we love it: Recently picked up exclusively by Anthropologie online, the Toronto boutique launched its trio of private label fragrances in 2006. Owner Cristina Burgess named each of the three signature scents after streets she lived on. Roxborough (pictured) is a sophisticated scent, with rich and spicy notes, that linger into a powdery musk and is a great option for the winter, as well as the evening. Woodlawn, is a crisp citrus scent with notes of lime and woods, while Avondale is a decidedly spring scent with notes of lilac, peony and gardenia. The travel roller ($30) is perfect for your evening clutch or even for your honeymoon.

It looks like another Kate is engaged in Britain and it’s none other than supermodel Kate Moss who said yes to guitarist of The Kills, Jamie Hince. According to People.com Jamie popped the question Tuesday night, with a 1920′s vintage ring. The date is also reported to be set for July 2 and Kate’s eight-year-old daughter Lila will be a bridesmaid. We suspect this Kate will have a completely different bridal style than Ms. Middleton. What do you think?
