Actor Chad Lowe, who stars in the teen drama Pretty Little Liars wed girlfriend Kim Painter of almost three years this past Saturday. The two kept the wedding intimate, opting for an oceanside ceremony at the Terranea Resort in Los Angeles, according to People.com. Chad’s brother actor Rob, was the best man and the couple’s 15-month-old daughter Mabel was the ring bearer. The two also got some planning help from Heidi Mayne of Red25 Events. Congrats to the newlyweds!

With 2010 being the 25th anniversary of Weddingbells, we have definitely done some reflecting on the past — and this includes what you and your mister are registering for. In our 2010 reader survey, we found 75% of couples already live together before getting hitched. While I don’t have exact numbers to compare, what I do know is that number in 1985 was significantly lower. Then, marriage and moving in pretty much went hand in hand, now many couples prefer the idea of testing out cohabitation prior to walking down the aisle. As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer of True Blood fame tied the knot over the weekend. Paquin, who wore a halter gown, also donned a stunning 50-carat diamond bib necklace from Neil Lane. She kept the rest of her accessories simple — diamond studs (also by Neil Lane) and a wedding band created by friend Cathy Waterman (who also helped design her engagement ring). According to People.com, Paquin’s mom also got to don some Neil Lane jewels wearing both a bracelet and earrings. Want a bib necklace like Paquin, but don’t have a celebrity budget?
