Make Your Own Matchbook Notebooks
Associate editor Roseanne recently hosted an adorable wedding shower where guests signed postcards for the bride-to-be. Inspired by this unique idea, we wanted to find another special way to present the wedding day guestbook. When we stumbled upon this post on weddingfavours.ca about personalized matchbooks, we were inspired by the simple construction. We decided to take this idea one step further and create DIY matchbook notebooks. Read on to find out how to make your own.

Weddingbells Magazine: A Year in Review
Here at Weddingbells, we love to research/brainstorm and come up with unique ideas to help you plan your very best wedding day. And that’s why planning the magazine is always such a pleasure for us—because we’re thinking of you!
Throughout 2010 we kept the ideas coming and celebrated our 25th anniversary. That’s right: since 1985 we’ve been helping Canadian brides (and grooms!) plan their day and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Wishing you & your groom the very best for 2011. Happy planning!

Dinner for Two
{Welcome to The French Laundry, Yountville, California.)
At Weddingbells we believe your honeymoon should be all about YOU. Meaning you and your groom. Your trip, of course, should be tailored around your likes and personalized to experiences you both want to share. For some it’s adventure, for others its sun and surf. For me and my husband, it was heading to California for a total food and wine experience. A trip of a lifetime, we filled our itinerary with wine tours, local restaurants, markets and a stop in San Francisco. But our biggest and most exciting addition to the itinerary came when we received confirmation of our reservation at The French Laundry! Foodies out there know it’s a tough reservation to get as bookings for the 62 seats open two months to the day and are often completely taken within the first hour. So you can imagine how excited we were to know we would be dining there on our first day as Mr. & Mrs. Read the rest of this entry »
