New Sweet Table Trends

Whoopie pies are certainly not a new treat, but they are something fresh we’re seeing cropping up on wedding sweet tables. This morning on Canada AM, we presented the latest and greatest treats for desert tables and mini-whoopie pies were only one of the amazing things we showcased. Christina from Truffle Toronto came and tricked out our edible display with all kinds of uniques and delicious sweets including coconut marshmallows, nougat, berry tartlettes, mini bundt cakes and micro macarons. Inspiration for Your Wedding Theme

This morning on Canada AM, we were talking wedding themes and brought a goodie table brimming with beautiful ideas. The four themes we touched on that we are currently loving were: Au Naturel, Preppy, Hollywood Glamour and White. From cakes, to flowers, favour bags and lanterns, we showcased a variety of items that would work well with each of these four themes. Aisle Style Ideas for Your Groom

Bradley Cooper was one sharp dressed man at the Oscars this year. We absolutely loved his slick tuxedo — a look we’re definitely seeing grooms rock this year.

On Canada AM this morning, we showcased four grooms’ styles we are currently loving with a classic tuxedo being one of our style options for a formal groom. The other styles of grooms we showcased were: hipster (tailored black suit with blue/black shirt and tie), destination (white, cool and crisp jacket, shirt and pants) and classic (a slim-fit window payne check suit). A huge thanks to Harry Rosen for outfitting our sharp dressed men from tip-to-toe in such amazing pieces.

This past weekend we travelled to Montreal for an exclusive bridal event put on by one of the city’s premiere planners Madeleine Kojakian of Maddy K Events. The Bridal Boudoir held at the Hyatt Regency Montreal was an intimate event featuring an exclusive gathering of vendors—everyone from florists, to photographers, bridal boutiques to cake makers—showcasing the latest wedding trends.
