Happy St. Patrick’s Day! In keeping with tradition, I am sporting green today, in the form of a new eyeshadow I’m just smitten with—Benefit Velvet Eyeshadow in Mermaid. Described as a “golden seafoam green,” this shade can be worn as a wash of sheer colour from lash to brow, or more intensely by layering it on the lid, then lining eyes with a complimentary eyeliner and smudging it all together to create a smoky green eye (this is how I’m rocking it today). I have always loved the idea of infusing your wedding look with a little colour, and I think a gorgeous green shadow like this one is a perfect way to do it. It looks amazing with all eye colours and will definitely give your peepers a pretty sparkle.
