Nail Trend: Get Minxed!

Minx nails are only the coolest thing to happen to manicures in years. Lady Gaga loves them. So does Beyoncé, Blake Lively, Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, Megan Fox and Liv Tyler. A Minx mani consists of the following: your natural nails are groomed as per a traditional natural nail manicure, but when it comes to the polishing stage, a sticker shaped like your nail is heated up and adhered to your nails. Once all 10 tips have been Minxed, the sticker is filed down to meet the edge of your tip. Voilà—manicure complete! Stephanie and I were Minxed last week in the office by Toronto-based nail tech Laura Merzetti and we were simply smitten with our graphic tips. There are tons of Minx patterns to choose, including super-glam silver and gold (Gaga and Beyoncé’s favourites), skulls, tartan, polka dots and fishnet (my Minx of choice). They’ve even recently launched a few sweet lacy bridal patterns. A Minx mani can last anywhere from four to eight days, and Laura tells me if you have your toes Minxed you can expect to get up to four weeks from your pedicure.

In truth, in the past ten years alone, the marketplace for online electronics has grown noticeably. Today, you could find practically virtually any electronic gizmo and devices on the Internet, which include cameras along with camcorders to computer components and video games consoles.
Wish our small town had somehting like this..perhaps I can suggest it to my nail lady..
