There’s nothing more romantic than a stay in the city that never sleeps especially when you’re calling one of the plushest hotels in town home—The New York Palace. I recently had the pleasure of sleeping at this posh Dorchester Collection property a few weeks back and I can honestly say my stay was a little slice of heaven. Situated on the corner of Madison Avenue and 50th Street, The New York Palace combines old-world and modern luxuries to create an ultra-luxurious and exclusive hotel. It is literally steps away from all the Big Apple hot ticket spots: Rockefeller Center, 5th Avenue, Radio City Music Hall, etc. If The Palace looks a little familiar you may recognize it from Gossip Girl—the penthouse is home to the show’s van der Woodsen family. I suggest for your honeymoon stay you splash out and book a sprawling suite in the Towers and have at least one dinner at GILT the hotel’s Micheline Two-Star resto. Another must: request a Palace teddy bear on your pillow at night to tuck you in. ADORABLE!
