It’s Raining, It’s Pouring….
"This is shopping weather," says my Cheeky Umbrella.
That’s the forecast for the next five days in Toronto and never in my life did I think I would say this, but bring it! The reason I’m doing a rain dance: I’m itching to bust out the cutest new umbrella which landed at my desk courtesy of the lovely Jen Zurowski owner of North Vancouver’s Cheeky Umbrella. Jen’s theory is that rainy days don’t’ have to mean dreary ones; she created this line of umbrellas lined in bright colours with ‘cheeky’ sayings on the inside to keep you smiling through any downpour. My brolley says “This is shopping weather” (certainly was last week while it was raining sideways in New York as I did retail detail down 5th avenue). There are six designs in total and there is even a line of umbrellas designed exclusively for brides (they will be launched in early 2010). Love this item for a girls’ gift! I wish I had this little gem while I was in New York. Stay tuned for more details about that trip and my stay at the renowned New York Palace—it was to die for!

Super cute umbrella! Be careful with the “shopping” slogan inside of your umbrella, might be too dangerous for your wallet ;) hehe
