Inside Toronto's Healthwinds spa.
When the going gets tough the tough get going…to the spa! That’s how I like to roll, and if you’re up to your eyeballs in wedding planning this is probably a way you should consider rolling, too. I recently had the chance to check out Toronto’s Healthwinds spa, which is not new to the city, but recently moved to a new location, which is super-chic and ultra-calming. You’ve got to love a place with this Zen mantra displayed on the wall (seen left) on the reception area when you check in. On the day I visited, I was just coming off our crazed Weddingbells production scheduled, pushing a 500 plus page magazine out the door! So to say I needed a little rejuvenation is putting it mildly. The amazing pros at Healthwinds helped me get my groove back thanks to a killer organic facial using yummy Éminence products (I wanted to eat the carrot masque!). If you are in the Toronto-area I definitely recommend a visit to Healthwinds; if you are outside of TO there are plenty of great spas across our home and native land to check out.
