White Haute

My bouquet! Photo T.H. Jackson Huang. ikonica.ca
I know Rosie did a blog a while back about white flowers and the simple beauty of them. I completely agree! In fact, I went for an all-white collection of blooms for my February wedding and love how clean and luxe my flowers looked. For my centrepieces, I chose a lush mix of roses, hydrangeas, rannuculi and calla lilies. One of my favourite floral accents of course was my bouquet: a mix of roses and white anemones. My florist Carrie Lynn Weber suggested mixing in the anemones because they had a black centre which matched the black and white colour scheme of my aisle style (white dress with black trim, a black feather headpiece and black Louboutins). I invite you to check out my day in the Fall & Winter 2009 issue of Weddingbells on stands now. Let me know what you think and if any of my ideas inspire you!
