Weddingbells’ Fabulous Photoshoots
Over the past 25 years, Weddingbells has traveled the globe in the name of fashion to shoot beautiful gowns against a beautiful backdrop. Italy, Arizona, Barbados, Bermuda are just a few of the places we’ve been, but I’d have to say one of my favourite shoot locales was very close to home—Collingwood, Ontario, located just a two-hour drive from Toronto. We found ourselves there in February 2008 to shoot a stunning winter wedding story for our Fall & Winter 2008 issue. I might add that particular February was one of the coldest on record in Ontario! Our model Lisa was such a trooper as we paraded her around the resort property of the Westin Trillium House, half-naked in strapless and barely-there gowns in -30 degree weather! While our crew looked on (we were bundled in UGG boots, down parkas and trapper hats!), Lisa rocked each and every shot to create a stunning editorial. Whoever said modeling was glamorous had it so wrong! Click here to see the rest of the photos from this fabulous shoot.

I would love to have that hat, and that Hudson’s bay blanket! I went to Prague this winter and every stylish woman was wearing a hat like that, I felt left out :(
That’s hat just made my Christmas list 2010!
Why didn’t I think of that headgear for my winter wedding! :)
