Occupations: Kendra is the president for Private Label Laundry and Ryan is a VP for an investment company.
How they met: Through friends.
Fave date: Their first date, nearly three years to the day of their wedding.
What attracted her to him: His intelligence and humour.
What attracted him to her: Her dazzling good looks and joie de vivre.
Engagement story: It happened when they were on safari in South Africa in February 2007, a few days after their friends’ wedding in Cape Town. Ryan proposed at sunset with a bottle of champagne on their private balcony, which overlooked the game park (and an elephant was dining on some leaves about 100 metres away!).
Words they live by: Life is not a dress rehearsal. Always give it 110%. (Thanks to our emcee Chris for coining the first half of that quote.)
