About the Couple
Bride: Erin Holowaychuk
Groom: Jonathan Crossland
How they met: The couple met during a year-end athletic banquet at the University of New Brunswick where they were both students at the time.
Engagement story: “It was our anniversary and Jon had bought me flowers, so I was not expecting another present. I walked into our living room and Jon had a bunch of small gift boxes stacked up on the ottoman. Inside each was a wire letter. I thought it spelled out "Welcome" as I had been eyeing a wire welcome sign in a local store. It took me a long time to unscramble the letters. I finally realized that the letters spelled out ‘WILL YOU MARRY ME?’ To top it off, Jon had the engagement ring in my grandma's old jewellery box! It was extremely romantic and was such a surprise that evening!” Erin exclaims.
