Occupations: Vicky is a medical resident and Ken is an engineer.
How they met: They were both part of a group of Canadian internship students working in Japan.
Fave date: Staying in and making dinner together.
What attracted her to him: How relaxed and comfortable she felt around him since day one.
What attracted him to her: How non-pretentious, down-to-earth and, not to mention, pretty, she is.
Engagement story: Ken charted a boat at Granville Island to celebrate Vicky’s birthday with a couple of good friends. On the way home, after enjoying a picnic dinner near English Bay, Ken insisted on taking Vicky to Kitsilano Beach where they frequently go to enjoy the sunset. To Vicky’s surprise, Ken dropped down on one knee and proposed.
