About the Couple
Bride: Vishu Mahajan
Groom: Lawrence Zastre
How they met: “We met on Lavalife,” says Vishu. “Our first date was on August 1, 2006 and we got married on the same weekend 4 years later.”
Engagement story: “We had already gone shopping for an engagement ring, so I knew he was going to propose soon, I just didn’t know when and how!” Vishu shares. “At the end of August 2008, Lawrence took me out for a romantic dinner at a nice restaurant. When we got back to his apartment, he got down on one knee and told me he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me,” she says with a smile. “Of course I said ‘yes’! He took out the ring I had picked out and it sparkled in the dark as he slid it on my finger.”
