About the Couple
Bride: April Alayon
Groom: Stephen Tan
Occupations: April and Stephen are both draftspersons.
How they met: April and Stephen were classmates in college. One day during their math lecture, April was handing back assignments, and she and Stephen had their first short conversation. A friendship grew and blossomed into love.
Favourite date: Their first date. The couple played pool in the afternoon, then he cooked April dinner at her place, and they really hit it off. He’s cooked most of her meals since!
What attracted her to him: His sense of humour and his serious billiard skills.
What attracted him to her: The whole package. She’s genuine, sweet and beautiful.
Engagement story: “There was no proposal that happened, but we talked about marriage after a few years of being together. On the eighth year, and upon purchasing a home, we decided to say our ‘I dos,’” says April.
