Bride: Nicole Gartner
Groom: Nathan Schoenroth
Occupations: Nicole is a human resources co-ordinator and Nathan is a software developer for an IT company.
How they met: They grew up in the same small town.
Fave date: Dinner out at the Sicilian Pasta Kitchen.
What attracted her to him: Nathan was easy to talk to and made her laugh.
What attracted him to her: Nicole’s looks and sense of humour.
Engagement story: Nicole flew into the Edmonton airport to visit Nathan for the weekend. When they arrived at his apartment, there was a path of rose petals leading to his bedroom. Nathan had also cut out little white hearts and written reasons why he loved Nicole on the hearts. Nicole followed the path of hearts and rose petals to find “Marry Me?” written in rose petals on his bed.
