Engagement story: “Shane surprised me with a mani/pedi at my favourite spa. When he picked me up, we went for a walk along the water, and he took me aside to a quiet little spot in the park and got down on one knee.”

Wedding song: “‘By Your Side,’ by Sade. We’ve grown up together over the past eight years, and we’ve always been there for each other so this song really echoed that sentiment.”

Most unexpected moment: “The slide show Sarah’s uncle put together for us.”
Fave wedding detail: “All of the stationery, which we made ourselves—invites, programs, seating cards, escort cards, favour tags.”
What made her day: “The energy—there was a lot of love that day.”
What made his day: “Being able to get some quiet time with Sarah while driving around the golf course for photos right after the ceremony.”
