Bride: Sarah Stapleford
Groom: Thomas Hill (TJ)
How they met: “We met during our third year of university,” explains Sarah. “We were in the same program and lived on the same street.”
Engagement story: “We went to my cottage in Grand Bend (that I’ve had since I was three years old) for a long weekend last August. TJ made me a very yummy dinner, and then he asked me to go for a walk on the beach with him to watch the sunset. As we got back to the beach in front of my cottage, he told me he loved me and wanted to ask me a question…he got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him,” gushes Sarah. “Obviously, I said yes!”
