About the Couple
Bride: Erica Walker
Groom: Michael Whibley
How they met: The couple met during their first year of university in accounting class. As Erica explains, “We met randomly because we had to find a group on the class discussion boards. Michael had posted about needing a group and so had I!”
Engagement story: “We are very traditional so Michael and my father were going to play their usual game of squash, and he asked my dad if he could marry me,” shares Erica. “Then my dad along with Michael and his dad went to pick up the ring one day in October (I had no idea). Two months later it was December 7th and after a work Christmas party we went back to my parents’ house to decorate their massive tree, which is one of my favourite things to do! Michael was passing me ornaments to put on the tree: first a blue one, then a gold one and then he handed me a ring that I thought was an ornament. He then got down on one knee and proposed—I’m not a person who can be surprised but I was speechless,” gushes Erica.

Absolutely stunning....not just the venue, cake and flowers but most importantly the couple themselves. Erica and Michael are one of the nicest and down to earth couples I have met in a long time. Their love for each other shines. Crongrats!
