About the Couple
Bride: Lisa Bell
Groom: Gregory Weaver
How they met: “We met while attending Nipissing University in North Bay, Ontario. We had class together as undergrads and became friends. When we began Teacher’s College in 2006 we started to hang out more, and things just seemed to click,” the couple remembers.
Engagement story: “Greg and I love to travel, so each year during Christmas break we travel to our favourite destination, Cuba. Greg had this big surprise proposal planned and he said something that hinted at a proposal. I hate surprises, so I started to hound him about what he had planned. I finally said I wasn’t going to leave the room until he told me what was going on! At that moment he dropped down on his knee and asked me to marry him! After a few swear words (I swear it’s love) I said yes!” Lisa exclaims.
